The Indian Journal of Social Work Education and Practice (IJSWEP) is released bi-annual in both print and digital formats. All entries have been evaluated by editors and reviewed by subject experts/specialists in the appropriate area through a double-blind peer-review process.

Open Access:

All the articles published in the journal are ‘Open Access’ under a CC BY license. The users have the right to "read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the published articles".

Call for Papers (Special Issue) Rural Education Camp – 2025 Organized by Department of Social Work (DSSW) in Collaboration with Vishwa Yuvak Kendra, Delhi and Bajaj Foundation at Sevagram Wardha, Maharashtra Theme: “Reimagining Rural Education Camp: Innovative Learning Pedagogical Approach for Inclusion and Community Engagement for Sustainable Development and Vikshit Bharat@2047”

The Indian Journal of Social Work Education and Practice (IJSWEP), Special Issue Editor Team invites high-quality scholarly contributions for a Special Issue dedicated to the Rural Education Camp – 2025. This issue aims to curate contemporary research, field insights, learning and reflections gained by the students and evidence-based practices that strengthening rural community development, community participation, and socio- economic and educational transformation in India.
About the Special Issue
The Rural Education Camp is an annual academic community engagement activity of Department of Social Work (DSSW) that provides exposure to students to understand the rurality and life and challenges faced by the rural community people. Every year, DSSW organize this camp with partnership of civil society organization and rural communities to provide exposure to the students to understand the best practices followed by different civil society organizations, CSR etc in the field of rural development. The 2025 Special Issue highlights the emerging debates, interventions, and scalable models that contribute to inclusive and equitable rural community development with sustainable development approach applied and practiced by Bajaj Foundation through their CSR in different villages in Wardha District, Maharashtra. During this camp, the VYK also launched YUVA Sanvad initiative for constructive dialogue among the youths on different rural issues and innovative approaches to address it to achieve the aims of Vikasit Bharat@ 2047.

Submission Guidelines
• Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
• Follow APA (7th Edition) style for citations and references.
• Include an abstract (150–200 words) and 4–6 keywords.
• Submissions must be typed in Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 spacing (Word docx file)
• All submissions will undergo through double blind peer review.
